大家好!

非常榮幸能夠參加中國(guó)發(fā)展高層論壇(CDF)。25周年快樂(lè)!我想借此機(jī)會(huì)感謝論壇的組織者、創(chuàng)始人以及所有幕后的工作人員，是你們讓論壇成為這樣一個(gè)獨(dú)特且經(jīng)久不衰的平臺(tái)——搭建中國(guó)與世界相互溝通的橋梁。這是一個(gè)思想?yún)R聚、深入交流、攜手合作的平臺(tái)。論壇始終目光長(zhǎng)遠(yuǎn)，聚焦這個(gè)時(shí)代最緊迫的話題——中國(guó)的發(fā)展路徑、經(jīng)濟(jì)轉(zhuǎn)型、數(shù)字化以及可持續(xù)發(fā)展。這些主題、這些話題深深地引起我們的共鳴，并且會(huì)對(duì)全世界的發(fā)展產(chǎn)生影響。

我有幸從2012年開(kāi)始參與論壇。每年春天回到北京參會(huì)，讓我想起20世紀(jì)90年代在此生活的5年時(shí)光。我在CDF最難忘的經(jīng)歷是2015年擔(dān)任論壇外方主席。能代表跨國(guó)公司參與高層對(duì)話并助力議程制定，我深感榮幸。每年，論壇匯聚多元視角，激發(fā)出創(chuàng)新的理念。這些互動(dòng)加深了我對(duì)中國(guó)發(fā)展的理解以及其在全球舞臺(tái)上的影響。

過(guò)去25年，無(wú)論是對(duì)中國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)還是對(duì)施耐德電氣來(lái)說(shuō)，都是非凡的發(fā)展時(shí)期。在此期間，我們(施耐德電氣)的全球收入增長(zhǎng)了四倍，而中國(guó)在其中扮演了極為重要的角色。如今，中國(guó)不僅是我們的全球第二大市場(chǎng)，還是重要的創(chuàng)新源泉。我們是中國(guó)發(fā)展的重要組成部分——我們既是參與者、貢獻(xiàn)者，也是受益者。我們從建立生產(chǎn)基地和物流中心，到設(shè)立關(guān)鍵研發(fā)中心，不斷擴(kuò)大業(yè)務(wù)版圖。

如今，(研發(fā))中國(guó)中心是我們?nèi)蛩拇?研發(fā))基地之一。近年來(lái)，我們一直專注于脫碳和數(shù)字化轉(zhuǎn)型這兩大新增長(zhǎng)引擎，將自身定位為這一新發(fā)展階段前沿的產(chǎn)業(yè)技術(shù)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)者。

展望未來(lái)，我希望并相信論壇將繼續(xù)發(fā)揮促進(jìn)對(duì)話與合作的作用。我們可以共同應(yīng)對(duì)緊迫的全球挑戰(zhàn)，例如氣候變化、技術(shù)創(chuàng)新、人工智能應(yīng)用以及經(jīng)濟(jì)韌性。

對(duì)于施耐德電氣而言，在應(yīng)對(duì)瞬息萬(wàn)變世界復(fù)雜局勢(shì)時(shí)，中國(guó)仍將是我們重要的合作伙伴和創(chuàng)新源泉。對(duì)于跨國(guó)公司來(lái)說(shuō)，能在論壇上與(中國(guó))領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人和決策者直接交流非常重要。

Hello, everyone.

It’s a great honor to join the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the China Development Forum. Happy 25th Anniversary! I would like to take this opportunity to commend the organizers, the founders, and all the people behind the stage for having made the Forum such a unique and enduring place – bridging China with the world, and the world with China. It’s a place, this forum, where ideas converge, meaningful discussions take place, and partnerships are forged. The Forum has always been forward-looking, addressing the most pressing topics of our time—China’s development trajectory, economic transformation, digitization, and sustainability. These are themes, these are topics that resonate deeply with us and that will make an impact to the development of the whole world.

Since 2012, I have had the privilege of participating in this platform. Coming back to Beijing every spring for the Forum reminds me of the 5 years I lived here in the 90s. One of my most memorable experiences at CDF, at the Forum was serving as co-chair of the Forum in 2015. I was humbled to represent multinationals in the high-level dialogues and shaping the agenda. Every year the diverse perspectives that come together sparked innovative ideas. These interactions deepened my understanding of China’s development and its impact on the global stage.

These past 25 years have been a remarkable period of economic growth for China, as it has for Schneider Electric as well. Our global revenue, globally, has increased fourfold during this time, and China has played a very significant role in this success. Today, China is not only our second-largest worldwide market but it’s also a vital source of innovation. We are an integral part of China’s growth–we participated, we contributed, but we also benefited from it. We have expanded our footprint from deploying manufacturing bases, and distribution centers, to establishing crucial R&D centers.

Our China hub is one of our major four Hubs around the globe today.In recent years, we have been focusing on the new growth drivers of decarbonization and digital transformation, positioning ourselves as the industrial technology leader at the forefront of this new development stage.

As we look to the future, I’m excited about the Forum’s continued role as a platform for dialogue and collaboration. Together, we can work on pressing global challenges, such as climate change, technological innovation, use of AI, and economic resilience.

For Schneider Electric, China will remain a key partner and a source of innovation as we navigate the complexities of a rapidly changing world. The opportunity to engage directly with leaders and policymakers at the Forum is invaluable for multinational corporations.

In closing, I want to thank the CDF again, for 25 years of continuous persistence, in organizing this fabulous collaboration platform. Let’s continue to work together—across borders and across industries—to build a more sustainable, inclusive, and prosperous future. I look forward to continuing this journey with you in the next chapter of innovation, partnership, and progress.
